LISTING REQUIREMENTS
Conditions or standards, established by stock exchanges, that a company must meet in issuing their securities. Before a company can issue their stock on an exchange, they must comply with the listing requirements as long as they are on that exchange. The conditions include the issuer’s number of years in the business, size of the firm, earnings record, value of total assets, number of outstanding shares, and market value of the shares.
