LIVING TRUST
A property interest created while an individual is still alive and administered by another party. It permits easy transfer of assets without undergoing the probate process. It is an agreement where the trustee legally holds the fund or asset which belongs to another person (beneficiary). This is different from other kinds of trusts that are made through an individual’s last will.
Also called inter-vivos trust.
