LOAD
Amount of fee or commision that is charged to an investor when purchasing or redeeming shares in a mutual fund or annuities. It can be a one-time charge or on an annual basis, as 12b-1 fee, at the time the investor buys a mutual fund, redeems the mutual fund shares.
