LNG
Stands for liquefied natural gas that consists mostly of methane. It is moderately pressured and cooled to around -256°F, in order for LNG to be transported from countries that have more natural gas than what they need to nations that utilize more natural gas than they create. A natural gas takes up 1/600th of the space, making it easier to ship and store if the pipeline transport is not doable. Experts expect the LNG trade will grow significantly, as global energy consumption rises.
