LOAN STRIP
A commercial loan sale where it is funding for a long-term loan acquired from other lenders. It is a share of a long-term loan. The loan strip holder receives the specified amount at its maturity, usually from 30 to 60 days. These strips can be classified as borrowed amounts on certain circumstances.
