LOAN SYNDICATION
A lending process where several lenders provide various portion of a loan to a single borrower. Most of the time, it happens when a borrower needs a huge amount of capital that is too much for a single lender to provide or beyond the lender’s risk exposure levels. Hence, different lenders will offer the borrower with the capital needed, at a specified rate agreed by all these lenders.
