LONDON INTERBANK OFFERED RATE - LIBOR
Interest rate at which London banks can borrow funds from other banks in London interbank market. It is fixed on a daily basis by British Bankers' Association (BBA). This stems from the screened average of the world's most creditworthy banks' interbank deposit rates for bigger loans with maturity period between one day and one year.
