LONDON INTERBANK MEAN RATE - LIMEAN
The interest rate in the London Interbank market that is calculated by getting the average of the offer rate (LIBOR) and the bid rate (LIBID). This is used as reference for floating rate payments. LIBOR pertains to the rate by which funds are sold in the market; while LIBID is the rate at which the funds are bought in the market.
