LUMP-SUM PAYMENT
Repayment of the total or partial value of an asset by one-time payment. Usually, this is taken instead of recurring payments that would be received over a time period. Its value is generally smaller than the total of all payments the party would accept, since the one paying it needs to provide more funds upright.
