MANUFACTURED HOUSING - MH

A prefabricated housing unit, which is assembled in factories, prior to being moved to sites of use. The cost of construction per square foot is typically less for manufactured housing than in traditional on-site homes (stick-built homes). This housing style is accounted for nearly 25% of new home sales for American families in 1990s. It also includes modular homes; the houses are divided into multiple sections and constructed off-site. Then, these are assembled like building blocks at the property.
