MARKET ECONOMY
A free market structure or system where the collated actions of a country's citizens or businesses, seeking their own advantage, make economic decisions such as consumption, production, and resource allocation. It has little or no government intervention and market freedom, unlike a centrally planned economy by which government decisions trigger most economic activities of a country.
