MARKET ORIENTATION
A business philosophy that dwells on discovering and meeting the stated or hidden needs and desires of its target audience through its product mix. Unlike previous marketing techniques that focused on showing selling points for existing products, this is the other way around. Market orientation strives to tailor products in order to meet the consumers’ demands. It also magnifies more on customers and less on developing complex to convince sales tactics. It is a coordinated marketing campaign of a company and its customers.
