MARQUEE ASSET
The most prized asset of a company that is worth the most or the biggest contributor to its bottom line. A company’s marquee asset is often the target for a bigger competition or has deep pockets, even if the other assets do not amount significantly. Also known as crown jewel, flagship asset, or trophy asset, this is more visible in smaller companies with limited assets rather than in large and diversified companies.
