METCALF REPORT
A critical report in the US accounting profession which examines the accounting industry. This was released in 1976 by Senator Metcalf who spearheaded a US Senate Committee. The main focus of Metcalf Report dealt with the change in the structure of accounting system. The Accounting Establishment was the real title of this report.
