MICHAEL STEINHARDT
A hedge fund manager, investor, financier, newspaper publisher, philanthropist, political activist, and avid art collector. Born in 1940, he established Steinhardt, Fine, Berkowitz & Co., his own hedge fund in 1967. The company offered net returns of almost 25% each year after fees, surpassing the performance of the S&P 500 on the same time interval. At present, he is the Chairman of WisdomTree Investments, New-York based exchange-traded fund sponsor and asset manager.
