MICRO MANAGER
A boss or manager who excessively instructs his or her employees. Rather than telling the worker what tasks need to be done and by when, he or she will closely monitor the employees’ actions and provide rattling criticism if the manager thinks it's necessary. Usually, it has a negative connotation because an individual may feel the micro manager is being condescending on them, due to notable lack of faith in their competency. The manager does not delegate responsibilities or duties and overdo the significance of minor details to his or her subordinates.
