MICRO CAP
A publicly traded company in the United States with a market capitalization from around $50 million to $300 million. These companies do not automatically generate stock prices that are bigger than the firms with lesser market capitalizations. Generally speaking, the bigger the market capitalization, the smaller risky the investment and possible returns. But the smaller the market capitalization, the riskier the investment and the larger the possible returns.
