MILL LEVY
The assessed property tax rate used by local governments and other jurisdictions to escalate revenue to shoulder yearly expenses. This is computed by assessing how much revenue every taxing jurisdiction will be needed next year, then divide the estimation by the property’s total worth within that area. Then, add it to the rate from every jurisdiction to generate the mill levy for the whole area.
