MODIFIED ADJUSTED GROSS INCOME - MAGI
The amount of income that decides how much of a taxpayer’s contributions to IRA is deductible. It is seen by taking the individual's adjusted gross income and adding back standard deductions such as foreign income, foreign-housing deductions, IRA-contribution deductions, student-loan deductions, and deductions for higher-education costs.
