MOMENTUM INVESTING
A short-term investment strategy which aims to capitalize on continuity of existing trends in the market. The momentum investor postulates huge increases in the security price will be followed by additional increment and vice versa for diminishing values. This is said to be a risky investing strategy especially in volatile times.
