MORTGAGE PIPELINE
Mortgage loans that have been locked in with a mortgage originator or a mortgage brokers, or other lenders. A loan will remain in an originator’s pipeline from the time it is confined until it falls out, sold into secondary mortgage market, or placed into the creator’s loan portfolio. These are hedged against interest rate movements.
