MBS
An asset-backed security backed by a mortgage or pool of mortgages. These securities must also be gathered in one of the top two ratings as identified by an accredited credit rating agency, and normally pay periodic payments that are the same with coupon payments. Mortgage must come from an authorized and regulated financial institution.
