MUTUAL FUND THEOREM
An investing theory that asserts all investors should hold a combination of risky and non-risky assets or cash. Postulated by American Economist and Nobel Laureate James Tobin, he said a traditional investor would hold a greater percentage of cash but would hold the same basket of investments in his or her portfolio as an assertive investor.
