NEAR MONEY
Near money is an economics term describing non-cash assets which are extremely liquid, like certificates of deposit, bank deposits and Treasury Bills. Economists, central banks, and statisticians may develop near money when determining the current money supply. It basically refers to assets that can be rapidly converted into cash, which is also called quasi-money.
