OIL FIELD
An area used for extracting crude oil or petroleum from the ground. Although the exact origin of oil is still unclear, most consider petroleum a "fossil" fuel often found in ancient sea beds thousands of meters underneath the surface of the earth. More 40,000 oil fields are available around the world, which some of the largest are found in the Middle East.
