PAUL SAMUELSON
He won the Nobel Memorial Prize in Economics in 1970, which made him the first American to receive that award, for raising "the level of scientific analysis in economic theory." He’s also an author of a best-selling college economics textbook entitled, "Economics: An Introductory Analysis," which teaches Keynesian principles.
