QUALIFIED ACQUISITION COST
A qualified acquisition cost is an amount of early withdrawal from an IRA which is used to fund the purchase of a first home. Often, a person who makes an early withdrawal from IRA should pay a penalty, but if the withdrawal is used to by a first home, there’s no penalty.
