SEC FORM 12B-25
SEC Form 12b-25 is also referred to as the Notification of Late Filing. This means that SEC Form 11-KT is a filing whose purpose for when a company is expecting other key filing to not be filed by the time their deadlines arrive. A company may deflect added penalties for the failure of filing the mandated forms on time by filing SEC Form 12b-25 on time. The data gathered under SEC Form 12b-25 includes the details of the reason for the late filing and if the company is anticipating any big surprises in comparison to it’s previous year’s filing.
