SEC FORM 487
SEC Form 487 is also referred to as the Pre-Effective Pricing Amendments Form. This means that SEC Form 487 is a filing whose purpose is to amend the information in a SEC Form S-6 for Unit Investment Registration that has been previously filed under the Securities and Exchange Commission. The data gathered in SEC Form 487 is similar to the data gathered in the initial Form S-6. This contains the management company information, the risks involved, the costs in the share, and the objectives in the portfolio.
