SEC Form 497K1 is also referred to as the Profiles for Certain Open-Ended Investment Companies Form. It means that SEC Form 497K1 is a filing whose purpose is for the submission of official copies of "Short Form Prospectus" for mutual funds that are open-ended under the Securities and Exchange Commission. The data gathered in SEC Form 497K1 include costs, risks, potential holdings, and an open-ended fund’s redemption procedures as it is sold to the public.
