SECTION 1237 CAPITAL GAIN OPPORTUNITY
Section 1237 Capital Gain Opportunity is a definite tax credit to let individual taxpayers to have an advantage over real estate dealers by exempting them from ordinary tax treatment on a sublot of land sale. It enables taxpayers to have capital gains treatment on subdivided lots of land sales.
