SIPC
Securities Investor Protection Corporation (SIPC) is a corporation established under a Congress act for the protection of brokerage firm clients whose firms face bankruptcy. The SIPC is an organization in which all securities and exchange members, registered brokers and dealers under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, and most NASD members are a part of.
