SERIAL BOND WITH BALLOON
Serial Bond With Balloon is a mixture of a serial bond issue and a term bond issue. Basically, the serial bond with balloon have bonds that have different maturity periods throughout the life of the issue where the larger portion of bonds or the term bonds mature in the last year of the term of the issue. On the other hand, the larger portion of bonds in the issue may mature at the very first maturity date while the remaining bonds with gradually mature after it to fill up the rest of the term of the issue.
