Share Capital is also referred to as ‘equity financing’. are funds that may be composed of either or both of common and preferred shares. They are acquired from the issuance of shares in exchange for cash and other assets. A company’s share capital vary from time to time due to the selling of new shares. More sold shares means more share capital.
