SHORT SALE
Short Sale is a market transaction described by the action of selling borrowed securities with the expectation that prices will fall. The short sale is required to return an equal quantity of shares at a future time. The investor profits in the short sale when the price goes down is determined by subtracting the cost of repurchase from the sold borrowed share.
