SPECULATION INDEX
Speculation Index is the index from the ratio between the trading volumes of American Stock Exchange (AMEX) and the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) with the rationale that stocks in AMEX are more speculative compared to the NYSE. The ratio, therefore, indicates the direction of speculation in the market.
