SNIF
Standby Note Issuance Facility (SNIF) is a kind of credit facility. It is most commonly a bank which finances projects provided that there is an agreement and that the financing is done through secondary obligations. SNIFs are basically a form of insurance for the lender as it ensures a payment to the lender in the case of borrower default.
