STARC BANDS
STARC Bands are a kind of technical indicator that uses two bands to plot around an underlying asset’s short-term simple moving average (SMA). The upper band and lower band is determined using the following formula:
Upper STARC band = SMA + ATR Lower STARC band = SMA - ATR
Where the average true range (ATR) is multiplied by a user-specific multiplier factor prior to the addition or subtraction from the SMA.
