STRAIGHT LIFE ANNUITY
Insurance product which gives periodic payments to the annuitant until his death. The annuity prohibits annuitants to assign a beneficiary. It can be obtained throughout the holder’s working life either by making periodic payments into the annuity or giving a lump sum payment. The latter is usually done at or after the annuitant’s retirement.
