STRAIGHT CREDIT
Letter of credit which can only be paid at the counters of the issuing bank or a designated drawee bank authorized to make payment. This can only be made to the beneficiary stated in the letter of credit, not to the intermediary or negotiating bank. The beneficiary must show documents at the paying bank or drawee bank on or before the expiration date, as stated in the letter of credit.
