SYSTEM FOR ELECTRONIC DOCUMENT ANALYSIS AND RETRIEVAL - SEDAR
System used for electronically filing most securities information with the Canadian securities regulatory authorities. Established by the Canadian Securities Administrations in 1997, filing on SEDAR is mandatory for most reporting issuers in the country. The system enables the industry to electronically submit securities and remit filing fees, allows immediate and intelligent access to public firms and investment fund details, and speeds up communication among issuers and regulators.
