TANDEM LOAN
Two loans taken out on one asset, normally a house. The secondary loan is added to a primary loan. It also pertains to a lending facility allowing businesses to fill the gap between commercial loans and other funding sources, with proceeds used for acquisitions, land and equipment, or working capital. The institution can also offer monetary aid to builders and developers of nonprofit public housing.
