TERM ASSET-BACKED SECURITIES LOAN FACILITY - TALF
Credit facility bolstering consumer spending to help uplift the economy by issuing asset-backed securities. Created by the US Federal Reserve in 2008, the collateral for these securities is composed of student loans, credit card loans, and personal auto loans. The New York Federal Reserve Bank provided up to $1 billion for backing these loans.
