THE COINAGE ACT OF 1792
Legislation establishing the US Mint and regulated the coinage system. Enacted in 1792, it created US eagles, dollar, dismes, and cents, as well as half-denominations of every unit. The value of each coins vary depending on the type and amount of material used in creating these coins.
