THE CLARK MEDAL
Informal name for the John Bates Clark Medal, an award conferred to an American economist aged 40 and below, and has contributed outstanding research in economics. Given annually by the American Economic Association, the medal is never awarded to more than one economist in the same year unlike the Nobel prize.
