Computer programs that process trading of financial instruments including currencies and stocks. Normally provided by brokerage firms, clients can trade these products and manage their own accounts. Each brokerage offers their own trading software as seen in its interface. These softwares can be purchased from third parties to improve or add the services a brokerage has.
