TREASURY BOND - T-BOND
Negotiable, fixed-interest debt security with a maturity of more than 10 years. Backed by the US government, interest is paid semi-annually and income from this security is only taxes at the federal level. Such bonds are issued with a minimum denomination of $1,000 and primarily sold through auction.
