TREND TRADING
Trading strategy seeking to capture gains by analyzing an asset’s momentum in a certain direction. The strategy involves taking positions to generate profit from additional moves in the prevailing direction of the asset’s price. The trader takes a short position in the event of a downtrend or successively lower highs. Conversely, the trader takes a long position in times of upward trend or successively higher highs.
