TRUST COMPANY
Entity acting as a fiduciary, trustee, or agent for individuals and businesses in administering, managing, and transferring of assets to a beneficiary. This organization serves as a custodian for trusts, custodial arrangements, estates, asset management, beneficial ownership registration, stock transfer, and other related arrangements. Although the trust company does not own the assets they manage, it may assume certain legal obligation in administering these assets on behalf of other parties.
