UM
Uninsured motorist coverage is a supplementary insurance on your automobile insurance policy. It is a provision in case of accident when the other driver is uninsured and is legally responsible for the unfortunate event. The uninsured motorist coverage is required in some states while optional in others. It pays for injuries to the insured, his/her passengers, and covered damaged properties.
